The brief

HIP commissioned the images of a hotel in Guadalmina, Marbella: the room with its entrance and its minibar, the bathroom and the terrace.

The challenge

The images had to show stone, wood and natural fibers under warm evening light, and make the room and the terrace read as a single space.

Chapter 01 / 03

Entrance and bathroom

The way into the room and the bathroom share light wood, natural fiber and stone.

    The light stone, the wood and the mirror with perimeter lighting make the bathroom warm and restrained.

Chapter 02 / 03

The room

The bed, the sitting corner and the minibar share a single space, open to the terrace.

    The upholstered headboard and the natural fiber panels define the sleeping area in soft light.

    Up close you can see the wooden finishes and the slats that separate the bed from the bathroom.

    From the bed the gaze reaches the terrace, in a room open to the outdoors from end to end.

    The round table and the armchairs form a second corner facing the green-framed mirror.

  5. 08Sitting area, toward the bed

    Looking toward the entrance, the order of the room is clear, with sofa, bed and bathroom in one line.

    With the curtain open, the sofa faces the outdoors and the terrace extends the room.

    The slatted wood unit keeps drinks and coffee in view, with the framed television above.

The terrace

The terrace looks out to the sea and serves as a second living room for the room.
